JANUARY DAY TRIP TO BUKIT TINGGI

The first day trip for year 2012 was on the 8th January 2012.

The bus load of 33 people were excited as they gathered at the

club house on that beautiful morning. The first stop was to the

frozen seafood factory where breakfast was fried meehoon and

fried rice. From there we proceed to Bentong Jimmy's Durian

Orchard, where we sampled different types of durians. There was

a walk around the orchard where the different types of durian trees

were introduced to the seniors. After a hearty meal, we proceed to

Bentong town where we had homemade ice cream and ice kacang.

From there, we proceed to Bukit Tinggi where we visited the Colmar

French Village, and the Japanese Garden. The sight was beautiful

with creative and colorful structures.

The strawberry farm at Gohtong Jaya was the last stop where we can

hand picked our own strawberry for a price. Dinner was at a new

restaurant at Gohtong Jaya, before we depart for home.

It was a relaxing, enjoyable and satisfying (hmmmm...lovely durians,

ice cream and dinner) with good fellowship of all club members!
